Edmonton Accountant

So, I want a career in Accounting or Finance in the future.
I will be attending an community college in the fall, and I couldn’t find accounting but accounting tech/bookkeeping. Is it the same thing?
Im planning to transfer to get my BS in accounting, so I shouldn’t worry about cc accounting?

do accountants do basically what a book keeper in business has always done? or when, how branched off this necessary job to the role of an "Accountant"?

why accountants make so much money and need so much education?

how compare their incomes to others? and are they often making more money than advertisers, etc? why , how again?
